Fitted Wardrobes · Yorkshire
Designed around your room, built in our Wakefield workshop, and installed by our own team. No standard sizes. No filler panels. No compromises.
What Bespoke Actually Means
When most fitted wardrobe companies say "bespoke," what they actually mean is standard. Standard cabinet sizes, standard configurations — and then filler pieces to bridge the gaps between their units and your walls. You end up with furniture that fits the room in the loosest sense of the word.
At JAX Bespoke, every single piece is built to the exact dimensions of your space — so there are no voids, no filler panels, no awkward gaps. Just a wardrobe that was designed for your room and no other.
Jack comes to your home, takes precise measurements, and designs a solution that accounts for every angle, every bulkhead, every sloping ceiling. Nothing is left to chance.
No fillers. No gaps. No compromises.
What We Build
Floor-to-ceiling wardrobe systems built precisely to your room's dimensions. Hinged doors, thoughtfully organised interiors — all made to measure and finished exactly how you want them. Nothing borrowed from a catalogue, nothing that doesn't belong.
Transform a spare bedroom, large landing or oversized master into a fully fitted dressing room. Open rails, island units, velvet-lined drawers, mirror panels — designed as a single cohesive scheme so everything works together.
Sloping ceilings, bulkheads, box rooms, angled walls — the spaces that off-the-shelf furniture gives up on are the ones we enjoy most. We've turned loft rooms, box rooms and bulkhead bedrooms into properly finished, fully functional spaces. Every awkward inch used.
Victorian terraces, Edwardian semis, Georgian houses — older homes have irregular walls, uneven floors and architectural features that standard furniture ignores. We design around all of it. The result looks like the wardrobe has always been part of the building.
Inside Every Wardrobe
A wardrobe that looks beautiful but doesn't work for how you actually live is just expensive storage. We design the interior of every wardrobe around your specific requirements — what you own, how you dress, what needs to be hidden and what you want on display.
Finish & Quality
Every wardrobe we build is hand-finished in our Wakefield workshop. Joints are cut tight. Doors hang level. Hardware is specified to match the piece and the room.
We don't cut corners on the things you won't notice until they go wrong. That's why our wardrobes are still standing and still looking exactly right years after installation.
How It Works
Jack comes to your home, takes precise measurements and has a real conversation about what you need. No obligation, no sales pitch — just a chance to work out what's possible.
We produce detailed, drawn-to-scale design drawings so you can see your wardrobe before anything is made. You're also welcome to visit our design studio — by appointment — to see and feel the actual materials, finishes and hardware in person.
Every piece is made in our own workshop in Wakefield, to your exact specification. Hand-finished, inspected, and not leaving until it's right.
We fit everything ourselves. Cleanly, carefully, and with the same attention we put into building it. Most wardrobe installations take one to two days.
Your Design, To Scale
Before anything is cut or painted, we produce a detailed, drawn-to-scale design of your wardrobe. You'll see exactly how it'll look in your room — the proportions, the door configuration, the internal layout — so there are no surprises on installation day.
If something isn't right, we change it at this stage, not after it's been built. The drawing is your chance to refine, adjust and make sure every detail is exactly what you want before we start making anything.
It's one of the things that sets a genuinely bespoke service apart — you're not signing off on a generic floor plan. You're approving something designed specifically for your room.
Drawn to scale. Designed for your room. Approved before anything is built.
Our Design Studio
Picking finishes off a screen is fine up to a point. But there's no substitute for holding a door handle, running your hand across a paint finish, or seeing how a timber veneer actually looks in person. That's why we have a studio — and why we think it's worth a visit before you commit to anything.
By appointment only. Come and see what we can do.
Book a Studio Appointment →We'd been putting off the bedroom for years because nothing standard ever fit the awkward chimney breast. JAX came in, measured up and designed around it entirely. The result is honestly stunning — it looks like it was always part of the house. Four months on, every visitor asks if the house came with them.
