My working life began as an apprentice bench-hand joiner in 2007 for a small joinery manufacturer in Ossett, Wakefield. After completing my level 3 advanced apprenticeship with distinction in 2010 I became self employed and for a good 8 years, gained experience on site joinery, shop fitting and refurbishment; local and nationwide. In 2019, I returned to my roots and took the leap in starting JAX Bespoke- which specialises in bespoke kitchens, custom furniture, bedrooms and garden rooms for the domestic market.

All our kitchen, furniture or garden room projects begin at the design stage; where we work closely with our customer to fully understand what exactly they desire. Once the customer approves our final design, we manufacture the project from our machine shop in Thornes, Wakefield.

The final step is of course installation. During this stage, our skilled and experienced tradespeople will go to the customers property and install the final product.

My Team and I believe that you do things consciously and with the utmost care, it makes all the difference – and nothing proves this better than our completed projects.

the ground up

My working life began as an apprentice bench-hand joiner in 2007 for a small joinery manufacturer in Ossett, Wakefield. After completing my Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship with distinction in 2010, I became self-employed and spent eight years gaining experience across site joinery, shopfitting and refurbishment — both locally and nationwide.

In 2019, I returned to my roots and took the leap of starting JAX Bespoke — a business specialising in bespoke fitted furniture for the domestic market. Every project is designed, manufactured and installed by our team, from our workshop in Thornes, Wakefield.

My team and I believe that when you do things carefully and with the utmost attention to detail, it makes all the difference — and nothing proves that better than our completed projects.

How every project works

From first conversation to finished installation

Design

We work closely with you to understand exactly what you're looking for — dimensions, finishes, storage requirements. Once you're happy with the final design, we move to manufacture.

Manufacture

Your project is made from scratch in our Wakefield workshop. Every component is cut, built and checked by our team before it leaves the premises.

Install

Our experienced tradespeople install everything at your property, leaving the space clean and the finished piece exactly as designed — ready to use from day one.
