Our Process · Step 2 of 3
Once your design is approved, every piece is cut, shaped and finished by hand in our own workshop — using traditional joinery skills alongside modern machinery, before it ever reaches your home.
How We Work
Manufacturing is the middle stage of every JAX Bespoke project — sitting between design and installation, and carried out by the same team from start to finish.
Jack visits your home, takes precise measurements and talks through your design in detail before anything is drawn up.

Using your approved design and exact measurements, every component is cut, shaped and finished in our workshop.
Once manufactured, our own team fits everything on site — no subcontracted installers, no handover between companies.
See how we install →Why We Manufacture In-House
Our experienced cabinet makers handcraft every piece in our own workshop in Wakefield, combining traditional joinery techniques with modern machinery and finishing equipment.
The workshop Jack and the team have built up over the years means components can be pre-cut, sanded, routed, primed or fully spray-finished before they ever reach your home — so installation is faster and cleaner, with far less mess and disruption on the day.
Every project moves into manufacturing only once you've agreed your final design — nothing is cut until you're happy with exactly what's being built.
A Workshop Built for Quality
Our workshop is set up to handle intricate, detailed work in a controlled environment — with an advanced dust extraction system and a spacious layout that keeps every stage of the build clean and precise.
What We Build
Every project starts as a fully-to-scale 3D visual — the perfect way to see how a new kitchen or piece of furniture will actually look and fit your space before a single cut is made. Whatever you're picturing, our workshop can build it:

A Faster Way to Order
Not every media wall needs a full bespoke design process. TV Simplicity is built in the same Wakefield workshop, by the same team — but with a fixed price and a 2–3 week turnaround.
